Why we’re here
Great research deserves a life beyond the lab.
You have the technical curiosity. Let’s build what comes next.
Redko Labs is an impact AI and deep tech incubator. We’re creating a place for technical students and researchers to turn meaningful problems into companies they can lead.
A small community, hands-on building, and support through the unfamiliar parts of becoming a founder. Apply with a research direction, an early company, or the skills to find your first problem.
For tomorrow’s technical founders
Undergraduates · Master’s students · PhD researchers

Our focus
Big questions. Worth working on.
At the intersection of scientific possibility and problems that matter to people.
Different disciplines. A shared ambition to make an impact.
Accelerate the search for what’s possible.
New tools for discovery, built by people who understand the questions. We want to help technical founders take a promising research direction into the world.
Explore ideas that make care, understanding, and everyday wellbeing better. Start with a real human need, and let evidence and domain expertise guide the work.
Some breakthroughs need a new foundation. We’re interested in the materials, hardware, and computational tools that make the next generation of technology possible.
Get close to the problem. Talk to people who experience it, meet domain experts, and identify an assumption worth testing.
02
Build the evidence
Move from hypothesis to prototype. Test with users, learn what holds up, and find the beginnings of a viable product.
03
Become the founder
Lead the company you’re building. Shape a team, a business model, and a clear next milestone for revenue or funding.

Founder experience
Built by someone who has been at the start.
Redko founder Anya Ozmen has worked with Techstars, Antler, and Founders Boost LA, a pre-accelerator. Redko Labs brings together a network of 100+ mentors and 7,000+ investors globally to help scientific and technical founders build their companies.
Redko Labs is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by these programs.
Technical college students, master’s students, PhD researchers, and other builders who want to start an impact-focused company. You might have a research direction, an early prototype, or a problem you can’t stop thinking about.
Do I need an idea or a company already?
You don’t need an idea or a company to apply. Tell us about your background and the questions you want to explore. We’re interested in both existing ideas and people looking for the right problem to work on.
What makes a company an impact company?
Companies that address a meaningful problem and have a business model capable of sustaining that work. We want founders to define who benefits, what improves, and how they’ll measure it.
How will equity and funding work?
Our investment committee can offer selected founders up to $1 million in investment, with flexible terms negotiated individually. Investment is subject to committee review and a separate written agreement; joining the program does not guarantee funding. Any equity-for-support arrangement is discussed individually and documented before a commitment.
When can I join?
We enroll on a rolling basis. Apply when you are ready, and we’ll discuss your research, availability, and a suitable starting point.
We welcome applicants from all sorts of universities, including Stanford, UC Berkeley, Harvard, UCLA, USC, community colleges, and universities around the world. Industry experience and independent learning are welcome too. Tell us what you have worked on and what you want to build.
Let’s start a conversation
What can’t you stop thinking about?
A question. A prototype. A better way of doing something. Tell us what’s on your mind and where you’d like to take it.
