What is RAG?
Retrieval-augmented generation combines a search step with an AI model. The system retrieves relevant information and uses it to help produce an answer.
Does RAG eliminate hallucinations?
No. Retrieval can improve grounding, but answers, citations, permissions, and failure behavior still need evaluation.
Can this search private documents?
Yes, with an agreed security design. The system should only retrieve and disclose content the requesting user is permitted to access.
